Quality Grades

Items have four grades, and a specific item may have versions with all four. A Common Pistol may have up to three upgrades, all with the same Item name, but with four grades. For this reason, our {{STO Item|}} template has a sub-template, {{STO Item Upgrade|}}, that can be used up to three times to Specify what is different on each of the upgrades. Items of the higher grades can be drops or many of them can be upgraded from lesser Items by visiting the Scientists at STOSyetem.

• Common is the default when no grade is specified
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Very Rare
