Called different things in different games, a Broker is a special type of NPC that lists items for sale by players, and allows other players to buy them, usually for a fee.

Shugo Trade Agents can be found at the fortress of every zone after the introduction zones, and some large camps. The agents charge a fee, up front, to list the item or items for 9 days. If it sells you can collect your money from the sale at any Agent, and if it has not sold in that time the unsold items will be returned to you via the mail. In either case your listing fee is non-refundable
