\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\sound3\win\music\data\242.bgw is the first music that plays on the main menu. \PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\sound\win\music\data\108.bgw is the second one.
I suppose moving or removing those files would make the music not play, but I know for sure |

its real easy to fix
go to Start Menu and hit run
then type regedit
then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > PlayOnlineUS > InstallFolder
make sure value 0001 type REG_SZ has the data field set to something like
