Burning Crusade Flash Site; WoW Hits 8 Million

For the release of The Burning Crusade, Blizzard has whipped up something special. Their new Burning Crusade Flash mini-site is an interactive introduction to the expansion packed with graphics, music, animation, mini-games, and perhaps even a few secret rewards. Navigate through the site's sections by clicking the floating spheres on the bottom right of the page - and keep an eye out for those questgivers. Enjoy!

In other news, World of Warcraft surpasses 8 million subscribers worldwide. See the link for more details. Blizzard also added: "This feat would not have been possible without the longstanding support of the World of Warcraft community. Thank you for helping us bring Azeroth to life; we're looking forward to continuing the adventure with you beyond the Dark Portal in just five short days... "

And so are we.

With 8 million subscribers you would think they could afford to enough GMs so that it doesn't take hours for a repsonse. Customer service people so that account restoration because of hacking doesn't take weeks or months.

This feat also would not have been possible without the multitude of gold farming accounts. They make up a part of that 8 million.
