Hey Zam guys...
No offence meant here..while we appreciate all the leg work you guys are doing with the items/recipes I think the big news is that since the last patch, many people can not play EQ with their XP or Vista machines and Daybreak has said "They are looking into it" there has been no news that there will be a fix.
EQ1 is a very old game and this sudden change was a surprise for many players because it has always worked and is one of the few really super engaging fun games you can play on an old old PC with an old graphics card. I think this flexibility was part of it's staying power? The fact that Zam never mentioned it might mean you didn't know it happened. I have read many posts on the official forums that point out the fact that: XP and Vista support is gone a long time ago and that the player base should upgrade anyways. I think some of us want to know for sure if we need to replace our boxes with new equipment or should we just wait it out? I am hoping our #1 site for all things EQ1 has the ear of Daybreak.
