It is rumored that you must sign up to enter, that is wrong, you must BE a premium member. It is amazing how twisted some people's minds are over at the beta boards!!!

they just see the "you must be a premium member" thing when they try to enter the contest and they take it as if they're being charged money for the entry. no, you have to be a premium member and if that means you're willing to buy a membership strictly for the tiny chance at a beta account that will get wiped before release anyway you need serious psychiatric assistance asap.

Yeah I never considered that anyone would sign up just for the chance of winning. I just looked at it as a nice thing to pass on to a few of our premium members. I didn't check the exact number, but there are likely several thousand people signed up for a shot at those 3 accounts. By all means, please sign up for all the nice features we offer with the membership (heck if you are buying the game, the 10% game and 25% strategy guide coupons at EBgames.com practically cover the fee anyways), but you are wasting your money if you are signing up just for the small chance you will win this contest.

The contest will end next week. I have to submit the winners to Blizzard by June 18th, so we will end the contest with plenty of time to spare before that.
