Why I Am Excited For The Elder Scrolls Online and Will Win!

Why is this one excited to play the Elder Scrolls Online? As a die hard TES fan, I am extremely excited to explore all the new places I have heard about in lore but to do it for real. I will be able to explore all the exotic and dangerous regions of Tamriel which shall surely guarantee the most rewarding of adventures.

I'm excited to [continue] play[ing] ESO because, as horrible as it sounds, none of my close friends are playing. There are a few reasons why this is good: namely, I get to concentrate on the game itself and actually enjoy the simple things such as the environment and spending my time how I would like, crafting and such. Secondly, I can meet new people which is always great! :)

So far, ESO has had a fantastic launch. And although I can see some things that I feel will only become more of "issues" as time progresses, I'm giving it time. Some things will inevitably change - some for the better some for the worse - but you have to give things time to work themselves out. Meanwhile, I'm going to continue to have fun playing this enjoyable game.

See you all in Tamriel!!

I'm excited for TESO for the crafting, for enjoying the huge world of Tamriel with friends, the ability to go anywhere, explore anything, and LOOT ALL THE BARRELS!
Looking forward to getting started

I have been playing the elder scrolls series games for quite some time and completely addicted! In fact, I tend to get the games on every platform (even when I am unable to play them). The fact that there is a MMO version makes it so that I can play with friends... even better the PvP looks to be a modern version of the Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC) realm versus realm (RvR) that I fell in love with years ago. ES+DAoC = Legen ... (wait for it) ... Dary, LEGENDARY! :)

I like to get into the mix in big realm-wide battles. I've watched some video of world v world campaigns (from the Gaiscioch Family) that look pretty exciting.

Also, reiterating what others have said, it's Elder Scrolls, a beloved fantasy rpg game-series that i first tapped into with Morrowind.

Lastly, what Joph said.

Well for the most part it is. I am excited to try something different. It has the feel of Elder Scrolls, but yet is not the same. The MMO aspect really brings it to a whole new level.
I am looking forward to something other than the W.O.W. model, and it feels refreshing. I look forward to the new style and learning curve that will be present in this game.
PVP!

I'm excited to be playing with the old team again, and enjoying a different MMO. Thus far it is more challenging than other point and click MMO's, the quests are not (kill 6 rats). It seems like there will be quite a bit to learn
To be a member of an amazing world!

From what I've played in the beta, this game has me the most excited I've been for a game in (perhaps) my whole life. It doesn't help that about ten of us at work have been doing nothing but hyping this game for each other. An Elder Scrolls game that I can bring my friends? Day one purchase!
Enthusiastic Supporter
# Apr 02 2014 at 3:33 PM Rating: Decent
Why am I excited to play Elder Scrolls Online?.. because I care about the world, I care about the lore and I can immerse myself in it throughout my play time. It's not cheesy, it's not obnoxious, it's not out of place... it feels like home... and the strangest thing is, I changed from hater to enthusiastic supporter over the course of all the beta periods during which I participated. I've not felt this pleased with a new MMO in a very, very long time.

Yes... there will be bugs, there will be downtime, there will be inconveniences but, in the end, I think the game is very much worth it. It's up to ZeniMax to realize ESO's potential.
