Destiny: New Gameplay Footage from E3

The first look at Destiny gameplay was released to the public at E3.

Destiny is the upcoming shooter from Bungie, the original studio behind Halo. Last night during the Sony press conference, players were witness to the first look at some of Destiny's gameplay. Bungie today released a new gameplay trailer highlighting some of what was shown during the press conference reveal as well as a few new looks of the enemies, environments and the story of the game.

Destiny is a FPS that as we previously reported is almost a full MMOFPS. During the Destiny portion of the Sony press conference (which can be watched here), we got to see some of the MMO components Bungie is putting into their game. Some of these components included a persistant world that is open to more than just your party, a public event system similar to what is found in games like Guild Wars 2 and Rift, mounts, bosses dropping sweet loot and a trait system that appears to not be tied to the character but instead is a part of that specific weapon.

Destiny will be coming out later this year on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. You can find more information about Destiny on the official website.
