Wargaming NA League & E3 2013 Presence Confirmed

North American League registration begins soon and a bit of what we can expect from Wargaming.net at E3 2013.

Today Wargaming.net, the leading free-to-play developer behind World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, and the upcoming World of Warships, has announced via press release the launch of the Wargaming.net North American League for World of Tanks.

The best NA World of Tanks players are invited to participate in three seasonal competitions, with each season ending with a $100,000 prize-pool tournament. Tournaments will follow typical Wargaming league global standard regulations; featuring 7 vs 7 match-ups, tanks tier 8 and below, and a 42-point maximum. If you're looking to register, season 1 registration begins on May 29th.

The first round of qualifier matches starts on the 5th-23rd of June followed by the group stage matches which will be hosted on July 11th-27th, with the tie-breaker and play-off matches hosted on the 28th. The Season 1 Finals will take place on the 17th and 18th of August.

It's great to see the World of Tanks NA League begin to take form alongside its solidly developed Korean and European e-sports league counterparts, which are already a part of the GSL and ESL respectively.

In other news Wargaming.Net has revealed that they will in fact be attending E3 2013 this year, boasting an impressive 10,000 square foot booth located at booth 601. Wargaming is known for having impressive booths in the past; housing actual tanks and other vehicles at their station. One can only imagine what they have up their sleeves for this year's E3.

We've also received confirmation that they will be showing their highly anticipated title, World of Warships at the convention this year, along with a look at a new mystery title which will be their first game aimed at console platforms.

For those of who are seeking a little competition, or who just want to get some practice in, both World of Tanks and World of Warplanes will be available to play at the the Wargaming booth as well.

A lot of information is coming out from the Wargaming crew today. If world domination is their goal, then it would seem that they are headed in the right direction.
