It's been confirmed that the reason you received that email is because you have not yet received your beta access email yet from Trion (or hopefully have, just not when you made the original query).
The response you got from your query to Trion was due to your account not being yet flagged as you have to get the email then agree to the EULA which will then link you to the client download.
Trion is sending out the very large number of emails in waves through tonight.
I hope this has settled any confusion and i understand your anxiety to get in the game.

Defiance: Beta Key Giveaway
