City of Steam powers up with a brand new trailer headed into beta
The 4+ minute "newspaper" video gives a pretty solid overview of what to expect in the game, and gives a great look at combat as well as some amazing visuals. Crank it up! Get it? Crank? Ahem.
If you're not yet familiar with City of Steam, be sure to check out Gazimoff's preview. While it's a browser-based game, it comes across as anything but:
"City of Steam, looks and behaves just like any other MMORPG I’ve played. Sure, the character models are a little simplistic and the color palette is a little brown, but it works. The beauty is in accessibility; I can be logged in and exploring this industrial-era fantasy world in under ten seconds."
You can still get in on the closed beta action with one of the game's Collaborator's Packs, so it's not too late.
I made the statement the other day that this game would be one to watch in 2013 and after seeing this trailer, I'm standing by it. What, dear readers, do you think?
