The Bazaar > Freeport Merger Starts TonightDec 20th, 2011 at 6:10 PM by Calthine

Some chat and mail services will be interrupted.

The Bazaar > Freeport merger is scheduled to start late tonight.

  • The Bazaar will go down on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12:00 AM PST.
  • Freeport will go down on Wendesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 AM PST.

The server merges will take approximately 24 hours to complete once they have started, although the Vox > Naggy merger took much less time than anticipated.  In addition to those servers being affected, there will also be chat & mail downtime for the following servers:

  • Nagafen & Antonia Bayle -  December 21, 2011 from 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM PST
  • Permafrost, Crushbone, Oasis & Freeport - December 21, 2011 from 2:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Watch this space for updates and more information as it becomes available!  During the downtime you are welcome to join us in the #EQ2 channel of ZAM's IRC chat. Feldon of EQ2Wire also has set up a ZAM IRC java applet that you can use.

Since the title of this article is Bazaar > Freeport does it mean that Bazaar will be added to Freeport and not the other way and when the dust settles there will be a Freeport server and Bazaar will be gone?

If that's the case, since I'm already on Freeport, will I have a better chance of my stuff not getting messed up?

wount be up till hum 2am on the 22...........so isnt it nice..


im not holding my breath for it to be up on thursday aka the 22


ill be playing other mmo for the rest of the wk or more


you didnt have to merg another server with a already very full sever such as freeport but who am i ............well was a paying customer but not any more

Also, the Vox -> Naggy merger was done way before the 24 hours are up, so this one may be as well.

Why can't you give a straight answer? You know exactly how long the vox/naggy merger took so why give answers like, "Way Before" instead of just saying how long it took?
