ZAM Featured WoW Blog: Killing 'em Slowly

Our newest featured WoW blog shines a light on Killing 'em Slowly, a blog that shows the ins and outs of raiding with a Warlock and a Death Knight. We speak with the writers about their WoW habits and more.

This week, our featured blog gets us in touch with our demonic side as we take a look at a Warlock blog. Killing ‘em Slowly features the ins and outs of a 10s-only raider with an affliction Warlock and a frost Death Knight, among other characters.

The blog contains a number of good how-to posts on playing a Warlock. The articles cover glyphs, rotations and spec. There’s a conscious effort to take the more hardcore theory-crafting that happens at other websites and break it down into easier to digest morsels.

On the lighter side, there are also some short stories written around the blogger’s characters. They can be a good break from the more theory-heavy posts. There are also a good number of other articles on miscellaneous topics, as well as thoughts and reflections on current events in-game. Feel free to check it all out!

As always, if you know of a blog you’d like to have featured in this space, please let us know. You can e-mail us at zamfeaturedblogs@gmail.com or send a PM to someproteinguy on the forums.

After the jump, we have an interview with the writers of the blog.

Interview with the writers of Killing 'em Slowly

Ful: Okay, prior to answering the questions, I wanted to give a little blurb about us so you sort of know who is doing what as far as talking here.  I am Fulguralis, Aff'lock Extraordinaire, owner-operator of the blog Killing 'em Slowly.  KeS was spawned randomly from a passion for writing and gaming; blogging seemed such an easy answer.  I had kept and "online journal" for years, so blogging was not new to me, though blogging about gaming (and specific topics in general) was.  My wife, Fuubaar, is the other half of the equation at KeS.  She was really the one who introduced me to the world of MMO's (I was mostly a console, single player gamer before her).  I started the site while we were engaged, and a mock marriage between our two toons on the website corresponded to our real life knot-tying adventures.

I try to post daily, taking the weekends off, and Fuu will add her thoughts on average 3 times per month.  She also helps me with the more creative aspects of the web design (she's more artsy than I am).  I also call her my "PR" manager, since she is way more into the community than I am.  She reads more blogs and listens to far more podcasts than I do.  I tend to keep it simple and just write what is on my mind.  Together, I'd like to think we do a good job both providing entertainment and keeping up with current WoW events.

We do have an About Us page, for more game specific information, but I wanted to give you a short background so you know who is talking below.  Without further ado, to the questions we go on page 2!
