No Pets Planned for WoW's 6th Anniversary

You can still earn a feat of strength by logging in between Nov. 30 and Dec. 14.

World of Warcraft turns six years old on Nov. 23, and Blizzard is celebrating by giving out a feat of strength to players who log into the game between Nov. 30 and Dec. 14. Daxxarri has some sad news for pet collectors, though:

"There isn't a pet planned for this year, no. We plan to reserve this sort of celebratory bonus for the most notable milestones or events in the future."

So there's no pet planned, but at least you can get your feat of strength. That should be pretty easy to accomplish since the Dec. 7 launch of Cataclysm is included in the window.

That's kind of lame. They had a pet last year and the year before. Why was fourth a notable year, but sixth is not? Oh well. :(
