If there's one thing that legions of Warlocks have yearned for, it's a new demon to command. At the very least, they've been asking Blizzard to re-skin the existing demons for some time now. According to the recent Twitter-hosted developer Q&A, both of these might be in the cards for Warlocks in the upcoming Cataclysm expansion. When asked if Warlock pets will ever get the re-skin many fans think they desperately need, Ghostcrawler replied:

"When you look around, there are a lot of say imp or voidwalkers we could use. It's something we talk about quite a bit. As for new demons, I hear warlocks are going to be getting some new spells for the next expansion..."

It might not seem like an awe-inspiring answer to most players...But considering the developers' history of dropping little "wink wink" hints like this, which are later unveiled as fact (remember the devs teasing us in the forums about the Greymane Wall before they announced Cataclysm?), this ZAM editor would bet his Battered Hilt that we Warlocks will snag a new demon by this time next year.
