'Daily Chores' Achievement Altered

For those of you trying to complete all the achievements associated with Children's Week, the "Daily Chores" one has changed to make it a little easier. Here's the information from Bornakk's announcement on the official forums:

The Children's Week achievement "Daily Chores" has been slightly altered from the text you will see in the achievement window. It now requires simply that you complete 5 daily quests with your orphan out. There is no longer an extra step in doing things over consecutive days.

So how many of you are going for the meta?

I liked the inclusion of battlegrounds in the Meta achievement. PvP is a facet of the game that can't be denied, just the same as PvE and exploration.

If you want the achievement, suck it up and experience part of the game that may not be in your normal daily routine.
Already done. . .

I thought this was a bug because I already have my title. . .

And to those of you complaining about about the PvP stuff, don't do it. If you don't like it, don't do it. I got lucky and it didn't take me long to get all of mine (EoS was the only one I had to go into twice). But if you hate it THAT much, then just don't so it.

Although I understand that people are somewhat irritated with the PvP achievements, lets remember this is an achievement granting a title. Its not meant to be easy. Its not meant to be easy. Otherwise everyone and their dog and its fleas will walk around with it. As it stands just everyone will have it (sorry dog and fleas).

Gods, this fallacy always annoys me. The assumption that since someone doesn't like a certain thing, they're asking for it to be "easy." Please work on your reading comprehension.

My point is that no matter how loud the PvP crowd whines, the vast majority of WoW are people that either never do PvP or only do it once in a great while. PvP achievements should not exist outside of the PvP achievement section. Notice I said nothing in there about making the achievement "easy" to get. Stop putting words in the mouths of others, especially when you apparently have such a poor grasp on the language.

I find it funny you question my reading comprehension. Look at where this meta achievement is included under. WORLD EVENTS. Which implies events that cover the ENTIRE game world. Not just one facet. PvP is part of the game world and thus more than thoroughly fits under WORLD EVENT.

Its a meta achievement for a HOLIDAY which includes a PvP element. Just because you don't like PvP or do not participate in PvP does not mean that Blizzard should restrict WORLD EVENT meta achievements to PvE only. I can't believe we don't have more PvPers complaining about how completely PvE biased these achievements are.

This argument is akin to a PvPer complaining about the Vault requirements (strictly PvE) for completion of Lake Wintergrasp achievements.
BG part is bad

I hate BG's. I hate the rush to the flag in AV. I hate how the entire BG achievement for Children's Week is pure luck. Luck of getting to the AV flag. Luck being the first to click on the WSG flag. Luck being the first one to click on the AB flag. Luck being the first to click on the EOTS flag. When you have 9-39 other players all competing with you for that click, it gets annoying. BG's have their own achievement sub-section, and that's where all PvP achievements should stay, IMHO.

I don't like the PvP in the achievements at least for the meta. I have been PvPing for about 4 hours today. I know that's not a long time, but I have only been able to complete the AB one. It's really not because of the opposite faction, it's more getting out clicked, and it sucks and is really annoying!
Good idea

Honestly a good idea. It really destroys a holiday if for example you can be on for 12 hours one day and none the next thus disqualifying you from completing it...

Perhaps Blizzard will wake up and realize that not everyone enjoys PvP/Battleground - especially since the advent of Death Knights... Those of us who's "Main" is a squishy, we take an outright beating trying to do some of the tasks set aside for these achievements....
