It's alive!

With 19 hours to spare, Mark Jacobs and the rest of the City State Entertainment team can raise a toast in celebration as the Kickstarter project for Camelot Unchained has reached its goal.

The passion of the Camelot Unchained community has been fervent throughout the campaign; in no small part due to the focused, innovative content promised in the RvR MMO.

Each time I hear or read something new about Camelot Unchained I get a bit more excited (or a lot more in this case).

As outlined in the latest Kickstarter update, CU will have an ability to customize the game world which will be different to any other MMO currently on the market.

The post-devastation era in which the game exists will require players to help in rebuilding the world in a way that extends beyond the usual narrative devices that players might be used to.

If you want to make a fan of fantasy PvP in an MMO go misty, for many you just have to say the words "three factions" and "Mark Jacobs" in the same sentence.

Those fans who remember the fierce and absorbing factional warfare of Dark Age of Camelot will be beside themselves today as City State Entertainment unveils the secret it has been teasing for a while.
