Return to NorrathFollow

I played EverQuest from launch until EverQuest II came out, then played EQ2 for 6 years. 11 years in Norrath before I left. That was almost 4 years ago. I don't even remember why I left, but in the time since I have played Runes of Magic, Tabula Rasa, Star Trek Online, Aion, Rift, SWTOR, Defiance and City of Steam.

Last week I got an email from SOE offering me an instant level 85 character and I decided it was time to re-load EverQuest II and check out how much the game has changed.

I have a bunch of characters there to choose from but decided to play my nom de plume, Bludwyng. She was 52 when I left. In the 4 days since I have already reached 66 and, much to my surprise, feel a renewed desire to play this game. I am having fun again!

The one negative I have to mention is that I now see how dated the graphics are, but that does not really detract from the game.
