Finally in Vegas!Follow

I am writing this from my room on the 20th floor of the Vegas Hilton. Just got in and got my laptop set up. :)

What a day so far! I finally got to meet Calthine (in the flesh) and also met Draknorr and Illia just a little while ago.

I met a bunch of Vanguard players while wandering the halls below, and had a late breakfast with Tony Royce from the EQ2 Marketing team (pure chance, we were both eating alone and started talking so I invited him to join me).

Drak gave me my huge box of business cards (I will scan one later, or something) as he and Illia were headed out to get a bite.

The room is VERY nice! I gotta say, this is probably the nicest hotel room I have ever been in.

One thing to remember for next year... PACK LIGHTER! I have been carrying my overnight bag, CPAP machine and laptop bag all day and my shoulders feel bruised and sunburned! I am planning to take my laptop downstairs with me tomorrow but I gotta say, if my shoulders don't feel better in the morning I may leave it in my room and just carry my camera and MP3 recorder.

Tony said they still had about 10 hours of setup to do in the conference rooms, and they have been at it since he got here yesterday from GenCon. Signin is this evening sometime (not sure) and then dinner with the full ZAM team (those of us that are here, that is) at 8pm. I think Draknorr said we are going to the MGM.

Well, that is all for now. I will post again tonight before I crash, of course!
