UBB tags...Follow

Hey.

Merry new year and stuff.

Would you care to divulge the tags for colours in posts? (I remember seeing a notice this was now possible. (Probably in the news section, but I'm not entirely sure where.) The problem is, I don't see how to use it.)

Since I'm playing around with the other UBB tags anyway, I'd like to know how to do this. I'd appreciate your sharing of wisdom.

As a small aside, many thanks for providing an absolutely top-notch site.

AlAaraaf.

I'll try to go one up on you here, and document the markup tags I've chosen to support here.

Ok then, to start we have the color tags. Not all of them will look anything close to good.

[li]Orange
[li]Yellow
[li]Blue
[li]Navy
[li]Green
[li]Olive
[li]Gold
[li]silver *probably invisible on this background, the color is silver*
[li]Black
[li]White
[li]Teal
[li]Red
[li]Maroon
[li]Purple

EDIT: Just added 3 colors.

To use a color in text, just bracket the color name eg: [ orange ] this would be orange [ / orange ] (without the spaces)

------------------------------------

The other tags you can use are:
[li][ li ] to get a list bulliten like this.
[li][ b ] to bold text like this
[li][ i ] to italisise text like this
[li][ u ] to underline text like this

You can also do preformatted text
which let's you paste tables and whatnot into messages easier
a b c d
e f g h

[ pre ] text goes here [ / pre ]

[ quote ] to quote text [/ quote ]

And Links....

There are 3 ways to do links.

http://anything will automatically be linked in.

you may deliberately define links as links, by using [ link ]text to be linked[ / link] like this eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com

You may also deliberately name links by using the following syntax.

[ link = h t t p://URL GOES HERE]TITLE of link goes here [ / link]

Eg: Illia's Journal

I hope this provides good info.

And please let me know if there are any tags you'd like to see added.

All tags here work in Signatures too.
