I was looking on the sight for a herbalism guide, like where what herbs are and if theres a high concentration of them and so on....i coudlt find one. Does anybody know where I could get that?

This is a UI that keeps tract of what and where you have found.

If you are not already using it there is a wow built in tool that locates herbs. The icon for it is located on the 1st tab of your spell/skill book.

nice list! here's just a few more i remember off the top of my head.

dreamfoil, blindweed, wild steelbloom are also in un'goro.

wildvine also is dropped from trolls in STV and rarely also comes from purple lotus.

swiftthistle can come from mageroyal and bruiseweed also, though less often than from briarthorn.

wintersbite i've only seen in alterac mtns and icecap only in winterspring. has anyone seen it anywhere else?

ghost mushroom in hinterlands.

gromsblood in blasted lands and WPL/EPL.

arthas' herb (forgot the real name) in WPL/EPL.

while all these zones may have various herbs, i find some zones too large to traverse, or the concentration is not the best. once you get going you'll find out which of your favorite zones for gathering has the herbs you want without making you feel like you're running the length of STV or Felwood with seeing hardly anything.

i also use the gatherer mod, and the latest version shows a "report" of which herbs were found in which zones, as well as a % of concentration.

If you have picked Herbalism and Alchemy, then here's some tips on Alchmey

Many of the good Alchemy potion recipes are sold at vendors selling Bottles, vials, crystal vials. If the vendor does not have a recipe when you go to him, its likely that someone else has taken the recipe, since they only respawn on each vendor once or twice a day.

The very best Alchemy potion recipes are reserved for factions in your reputation TAB in your character window, such as

Timbermaw Furbolgs
Thorium Brotherhood
Agent Dawn
etc

By working on your reputation with these factions from unfriendly/Neutral to Honored Status, you will be able to purchase rare Alchemy Potion recipes from vendors who appear to you when you reach Honored status, in the camps of the Thorium Brotherhood, Agent Dawn, etc.

Getting to honored allows all players to buy recipes, plans, patterns for a whole range of professions, not just Alchemy

Wildvine can be picked, but it only comes from a few Purple Lotus plants. I'd say there's about a 25% chance of getting one from a Purple Lotus, but I've only ever got them from the ones in Stranglethorn Vale.

Ok the Search function on the left side of the screen is great for getting this information. Say you need to know where to find Kingsblood

1. Type "Kingsblood" into the search function

2. Scoll down the page (after the search finishes) and find the objects found: section of the page and it will show the Herb you were looking for and a list of all the Zones it can be found in.

3. Click on the Zone that you want and it will bring up a map of that zone with the spots the Herb has been found at.

4. Travel to the appropiate zone and happy Picking !

Random Drops:
I've found just about every type of plant dropped by The Tar critters (Tar Beast, Tar Creeper, Tar Lurker, and Tar Lord) in Un'Goro Crater.
