Transmute TimerFollow

Is there a good reason for having a single timer for Vanilla, BC, and LK transmutes? Common sense says that very few transmutes of lower level timer restricted items get made once you hit endgame. And for that matter doing very many transmutes when you are leveling is iffy imo unless you really make an effort to get the recipes and spend some cash or effort to get the stuff to transmute. With today's fast as hell leveling that's somewhat problematical. This obviously leads to making many older recipes unrealistic and that stinks (imo).

Eh... to make money, you need to spend money.... and be patient :P

There is plenty of other things without a timer to transmute.

If you cannot find ways to make money with Alchemy other than with the 20hr transmutes then you are either not researching enough or I just enjoy a better economy on my server. I make a ton of money on Earthsiege and Skyflare every week. I sell about 10-20 of each everyday.

Somehow you have completely missed what I was driving at. If I was not clear enough I apologize.

Primarily this has little to do with making money. The point I am trying to make is that many recipes require mats that do not drop nearly as often once they are not part of end game dungeons. People stopped running Vanilla and TBC instances nearly as much once WotLK came out. Over time enough mats disappeared from the Market that recipes become practically dead. Many of those recipes involve items which can be transmuted and that would help with the shortage. But there is only one timer for transmutes and common sense says you almost certainly use it for end game stuff rather that the old. A different timer for the old stuff would be nice unless there is some good reason not to.
