You are at the AH and click on bid by accident instead of buyout, you then think if you buyout the product you will get gold in the mail because you technically win the bid once you buy it out and no money comes.... Grrr waste of 200g.

You don't get gold in the mail because it just subtracts the difference between the bid and the buyout from your gold.

Maybe mine bugged out, it took out the 170 bid, and then the 200g for buyout. At least I think it did, maybe I read screen wrong. In any case thanks for info.

It should only have taken 30G. I have never personally experienced a bug here. And I used to go down the list bidding on any low-priced green, then go back and buyout the ones that still had a low enough price to make me good profit DEing.
