Alchemy in PvPFollow

#1 Nov 23 2009 at 12:12 AM Rating: Default
Crafting professions have some kind of boost to stats unavailable to others. LW has better bracer enchants, Inscription has shoulder enchants, JC has 3 better gems. But alchemy has mixology to benefit better from flasks and elixirs. How does this affect arenas, where flask aren't usable? Should I just change my profession if I want to PvP better?

All you can realy use with PvP and Alchemy is Endless Mana Potion and Endless Healing Potion or (and that's better one cuz it heals both Mana + Health) Crazy Alchemist Potion.

The Lesser Flask of Toughness (= +50 resilience for 1 hour) you can only use in Battelgrounds, not anymore in Arena.

And those potions aren't usable either in arenas, I supose?:( I quess I'll have to go JC for my hardcore pvp nature^^.
Anyone knows if blizz is planing to boost alchemy somehow? Like a 40-50 resilience enchant on a trinket or something (so it wouldn't boost it in PvE as well).

Yes, you should be able to use these mana + health potions in Arena

Flask of the North can be used in arenas and gives you a stat boost equivalent to a fish feast.

Let's also not forget that as a side bonus, you get the (admittedly minor) HoT from your herbalism.
