i would try to do some lvl 70 dailies along with your cloth farming.
-Sunfurry plans have you kill those guys in netherstorm....cloth, coins and scryer rep items.
SSO dialies have you killing a ton of cloth dropping dudes, and again lots of scryer rep items

think clusters of humans, Netherstorm has a few nice camps with lots of humanoides.

I would think all of the fel orcs around the citadel in hellfire would drop alot of them... or in zangarmarsh, those "broken" (or whatever they are, the ones with the giant teeth and the pet sporebats) npcs to the south of cenarian refuge. but if your 418 tailoring, wouldn't you need frostweave?

That's what I was thinking. I'm currently leveling tailoring on my priest as well, and once I get to 350 tailoring, I'm switching to frostweave. I think around 418 tailoring, there wouldn't be any recipes that require netherweave that would gain skillups (at least that's what I'd think).

Yeah, I think he means frostweave. I'm currently at 446 tailoring (almost there!) and I've noticed that while I'm questing in Icecrown I've been getting a lot of drops. There's hardly any beasts out there, it's almost all undead and human mobs, which are the ones that drop cloth.

Again, think Humans, and try for the 76-78 level range so they drop fast, but have better loot tables.
Icecrown has good clusters. there are 2 argent turny dailies that have you kill 15 of some humanoide, and then 15 of another....make sure to do those while you grind for cloth

try up in Zul Drak, i think there are a few good area with human camps

rememeber, try to do 2 things at once....kill mobs that drop cloth, while doing dailies or grinding something for rep

good luck.

I'd recommend staying with netherweave as long as you can. It is much, much easier to farm netherweave and you're going to want all the frostweave you can get later on.

@OP: Frostweave farming.

One good spot for grinding frostweave is in the west-central part of Icecrown. The Converted Hero mobs drop 1-4 cloth 40% of the time. The mobs are yellow, so you can pick them off at will. There are solo mobs and groups of 5-6 mobs that you can pull if you are able. Kill the banner carriers, too, to weaken the Converted Heros. These mobs are part of a Tournament daily, but there always seems to be plenty up to kill.

Except that at 350 you get skill ups from making frostweave bolts, and the recipes you can still get skill ups for off of netherweave are ridiculously expensive.

The vikings (names escape me at the moment) at the west end of Icecrown. Depending on your class, you can fill a bag in under an hour.

There's a cave full of those giant centaur things in northern Borean Tundra - that's supposed to be the most efficient place to farm as you'll be able to easily slaughter the mobs and they've got a solid respawn rate.

I've also found the evil human mages that hang around the area were you make your shadow and spellweave cloth in Dragonblight aren't half bad either.

This.

If you go to Shadow Vault and then fly direcly west up and over the ridge you'll come down on a small circular area with Mjorblahblah Combatants (pairs of vrykul warriors fighting each other). They respawn quite quickly and are relatively easy to kill. The main thing you have to watch for is where your back is facing because they'll frequently do a knockback that can send you into other groups of mobs and create a dicey situation. The high drop rate on the cloth in conjunction with the rapid respawn made that my preferred place for farming cloth and if you're killing a bit too fast or have competition, you can always work your way south for a bit...that whole western ledge is pretty much all level 80 humanoids.

As others have mentioned, the Converted Heroes are also decent for cloth drops. Don't be intimidated by the groups of 7...they don't link so you can pull as many as you think you can handle from range and the rest will stay put (they do patrol around, however, so keep an eye out for them as you're fighting...running from a bad situation is not an option because they slow your movement speed).
