Alchemy Hierarchy & Stacking OrderFollow

#1 May 19 2009 at 7:29 PM Rating: Decent
I've got my alchemy up over 250 and I've still not figured out which potions and elixirs stack. I see I can use Exilir of Greater Agility along with Exilir of Greater Defence but if I then also try and take Exilir or Lions Strength it cancels the Greater Agility Exilir. I don't really understand which potions and exilirs can be taken together.

Can anybody cast any logic to potion stacking for a newbie.

Thanks

There's two types - battle and guardian - you can have one of each of a flask, which counts as both.

Guardian are mostly defensive while battle tend to be offensive improvement.

Some Exilirs and potions don't say whether they are battle or guardian so how do you know? For instance Exilir of Lions Strength doesn't say. I assume then it is a battle exilir as to gets rid of the Agility Exilir which it listed as battle.
