Hello, I just got my fishing to northrend levels or atleast close to (350 or so) at the moment, with baubles I can fish in some of the places but this is mostly for future reference.
I'd like to ask which are the most sell-able fishies out there in general, like what are the ones that has most uses that people would buy and also if there's any good-special places to fish them.

I thought of doing the research myself but since I have yet to know all the northrend fishies I am unable to search my AH for good prices to know what to look for, thanks :3
Hope you guys can help me~

Each server is different, especially for pricing. Check out El's Agnlin to learn what fish there are then check the AH for prices.

Lake Indu'le in Dragonblight.

Love that fishing spot. Musselback sculpin, Bonescale Snapper, and Dragonfin Angelfish. Snapper sells for 10-25G per stack(really depends on availability on my server). Sculpin sells for 40-75G and Angelfish sells for 75G consistently.

Glacial salmon is also a good seller, but if you don't have an epic flyer you definitely won't make good gold from it. The reason I like the lake so much is because you don't need to move around too much and can keep your line in the water for longer.

Dragonfins - you catch those in the lake in Dragonblight - used to make yummy feral/rogue/hunter chow.

All the fish in fish feast with special emphasis on the Nettlefish (atleast on my server).

Glacial Salmon (Grizzly HIlls), Nettlefish (Scholozar Basin), Dragonfin Angelfish (Dragonblight), Musselback Sculpin (Borean Tundra). Additionally, when patch 3.1 goes live, I see the Borean Man O' War being VERY valuable as it will cook into the best non-buff food in the game.

One thing I would suggest if you are looking to make gold with fishing is to level up your cooking. Cooking/fishing is one of the best profession tandems in the game IMO. You can level your cooking solely by the fish you catch while leveling your fishing.

I highly suggest you check out www.elsanglin.com. This site is THE best source for WoW fishing. It has a fish tracker which shows you where to catch certain fish, a comprehensive list of all the fish food buffs, and a powerleveling guide for fishing/cooking. Good Luck! : )

I would say just keep track of what is at auction , i tend to try a little fishing wherever i go and as i use auctioneer i get a reasonable guess at what stuff is worth and some is well worth going for , plus it does not take long to catch a few fish , 5-10 fish should show what is there , then you can decide if you should fish or find another place that has different fish.
