JC or BSFollow

I'm earning 400g a day selling my Dragon's Eyes since my JC is just a hobby toon so there's no urgency on my part to fill its recipe list.

You need to be more vague though - you did good not telling us your race, level and financial status but you still provided us with too much information - someone might yet be able to answer your question.

Its not horrible, although the thorium part of it is. You need loads of thorium, and I mean LOADS. A few hours farming it might get you enough, just for that particular section of BSing. Get the mithril spurs recipe is the only advice I can give.

JC is slow just <300 as well, but I didn't find it to be as bad as BS. I just waited a few days and bought the mats from the AH. After that, it was easy peasy. Just cut super cheap gems and make a few items on the way to 350, then get a huge influx of cuts again.

If it's a raiding main you may want to grab both JC and BS. Get mining on an alt.

If it's a casual alt, you're probably better off with gathering professions but take JC if you want some easy money making.
