enchanting matsFollow

My enchanting is at 280, and I am at lv 70. I'm in a small pickle. I know what Mats I NEED, but not sure what lvl rang of gear to DE to get the mats.

Is there a guide that I didn't see in the sticky that covers this? Or a enchanting site I don't know about that can help me out?

I seem to have a boat load of mats for 300+, but never any for 280-300 -.-

Thanks ^-^

Unless I miss my guess, isn't 280-300 Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal, and Large Brilliant Shards?

Aim for high level 50s items, but make sure if they're 57+ they are NOT Outlands items (they give Arcane Dust, not Illusion).

Yes, I was confused. GEEs are the ones you need. Good news is there are 660 items to DE here.

Download the auctioneer add on. It comes with Informant. (I think that is the name.)

Informant will allow a mouse over on items telling you what it will disenchant into.

Second the recommendation to get Auctioneer. I thought it was Enchantrix that told you the DE probabilities, but either way the Auctioneer package will have what you need.

What you really need to know is iLevel. That will tell you what something will DE into. You have to be careful with just looking at level because of the overlap of high 50s items from Vanilla and TBC items and the high 60s TBC and WotLK items. Using the add-on will help you separate those out.

At one point I printed off a table for myself with iLevel info and what the range for each enchanting mat was. I looked on Google real quick, but not sure where I got it from now.

Anyway, just grab Auctioneer.

You can always use the tables from WoWWiki.

is the item you should be making to gain levels at this point.

Illusion dust is available from DEing any vanilla WoW green gear from 51-60. Sell essences.
