You get dust from DEing armor so your best bet would be to try and find cheap armor lvl 51-56 on the AH. You can find this every so often when people powerlevel their trade skills and just flood the market with cheap items. So my suggestion watch the AH or if you have any friends working on LWing, tailoring, or BSing then you can ask if you can get some of those items and in exchange you will enchant their gear.

i can use a 375 tailor and 375 bs whenever i want, so if there not too hard to make i can just run round, and get the mats. Also the ah idea won't work because everyone on my server loves to put 51-58 armor and weps at about 50 gold

Well if you have a tailor making runecloth pants or headbands. The mats shouldn't be to hard to get and that would probably be your best bet for tailoring. I'm not too sure about BSing never did it myself but I'm sure some other people on here would have good ideas.

Have you done the quests in the higher level azeroth areas? (Eastern/Western Plaugelands etc) You could go do those quests for item rewards and you will inevitably have green drops while doing it.

if ur lvl 65+ i think the best way is either grinding Dire maul or some other instance like stratholme for greenies, or go grind the Mobs in silithus for the Cultist set and summon those bosses, both ways get u some nice greenies.
Also quests in EPL, Winterspring and silithus give greenies u can use

my mage is only 59 but, my hunter is 70 so he grinds the runecloth, but how do i summon the Cultist set boss.
I had well over 20 sets of it drop, for my hunter, so if there is a boss please do tell ^^

You have to equip the 3 piece twilight trappings set and then interact with one of the lesser wind stones. This will summon a random level 60 elite. Kill him and he will drop a green and some other stuff if I recall. Been a long time since I've done it but yeah that's the basic.

I found that grinding mobs and hoping for green drops takes way too long. For me, personally, the Tailoring route was much faster. Runecloth headbands ftw (as long as Ironweb spider silk is affordable on your server). You can grind runecloth a LOT faster than green items. Especially with your lvl 70 hunter.

the spider silk is 5g per one -.-

Tailors should be able to make a few options of gear that will yeild the dust you wanted, if the silk is expensive then grind somethign that is easy.

what is runecloth selling for....grind a ton of that, sell off enough to buy the silk and then your good to go.

crafting greens will be faster then wiating for green drops, and grinding somethign in demand, fun and easy to get will enable you to sell that, and buy what you really need instead.

have you checked for cheap greens to DE in the AH? with all the death knights leveling their new professions there might be some cheap mass produced greens for you to buy up and DE.

Since you have a 70, do what I like to do sometimes. It's a little more work, but it turns out better.

Instead of using your time to grind out lvl 55-60 mobs, even in an instance with elites using your 70, grind the normal things that the 70 grinds. From the sales of those mats, even though you need some later, buy the illusion dust off the AH. Chances are, the mats you are selling from 60-70 items is worth more than the illusion dust.

Ie, you spend the same time grinding for more profitable mats. In this case, you're just about to need the next tier mats also, so you can start building up the supply.

This is similar to people who would go grind rock elementals for motes of earth. At the time, motes of almost anything else were worth 1-5x as much as earth. Good for them, but I would farm motes of anything else, and sell them, then get 1-5x as many earth motes from AH for (a little over) the same time spent.

70 hunter? Go run LBRS. You'll get so many greens and boe blues you won't have enough bag space. Plus, if you're into achievements you can pick up the worg pup and smolderweb hatchling to get a little closer to the pet achievement.

I used to run Strat on my 70 rogue/enchanter for Azeroth mats, but one day I tried LBRS and I'll never set foot in strat again. It's easier and has a lot more drops.

disenchanting armor with an iLevel of 56-65 will yield Illusion Dust.

Download Enchantrix, it is in the Auctioneer Suit.
You can use Auctioneer if you want, but you really just want Enchantrix on.

Go to the AH, plug in 45-55 (not 100% sure, but Illusion is near this lvl of gear) and select armor/weapon and hit search. Arrange the items for bid (if using Auctioneer, have it go from lowest to highest down the list).

Mouse over the items. . .
Encahntrix will show you what stuff could break into.
Buy ALL the cheap stuff that breaks into Illusion Dust, DE it and BAM!

Or

Group up and run instances that drop the right lvled gear.

I recommend getting this formula: Formula: Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina. It's orange at 265 and goes yellow at 285 (if I remember correctly). You can easily go to 300 enchanting with it, even if you miss a few skill ups in the 290 range because usually the 10 dream dust you need per enchant are still gonna be cheaper than any of the recipes that require greater eternal essences or illusion dust. Depends on server economy of course but I have saved a lot of money with this.

Oh and be careful, the formula is BoP and limited supply, don't go there and buy it with another character. You'll waste wait time for it to respawn and money.
