inscription questions??Follow

OK, so I'm a noob scribe- right! here are a few quirks that I cant seem to get a grasp of:
1) I can do the "research minor glyph" once a day (or 20 hrs) to learn a new minor Glyph. Why is it then that I can also just go to the proffesional teacher and also learn the same minor glyphs? is the research thing just a way to get them for free?If so it's kinda strange, because I'm just as likely as not to get something that I cant use or dont really want. And when you consider the cost of the mats to do the research would I not be better off to just go buy what I want? WHAT AM I MISSING?

2) why is there such a HUGE difference in the prices of minor glyphs at the AH? the range is all the way from 3S-4S up to 10-12G depending on the glyph. 3-4S is hardly worth the paper it's written on, and again the price of the herbs to make the ink (if your not a flower picker)

3)Lastly... I'm a warlock Lvl 12, did I pick the wrong proff all together, or will this eventualy have something a little more usefull for my class?


I would appreciate any help, and I would really appreciate it if I didnt hear back from a bunch of people who just like to blast people on the forums to make themselves look big!

Well, I thought that I had read the same thing about only learning minor glyphs through the "research" daily thing, but I swear... I bought about 6 minor glyphs from the trainer before i even had the right ink to do the glyph research. I thought i was crazy, because I "KNEW" you couldnt do that.... but I did it. I have only done the daily glyph research 3-4 times and I have like 8 or 9 minor glyphs. I've been selling them like crazy at the AH and making +/- 20 gold for a few of them(some sell a lot higher than others). I dont know if I caught a glitch in the system that was to my favor, or if something changed, but i have gone back every day to see if there were any more for me to pick up.
