Yes and it will keep give you almost full health as you gain levels if you level the herbs as you go , it is well worth taking up herbs just for that free heal now.

It's definitely a nice heal spell. But, I'm pretty sure it's self-cast only so don't start stacking spell power if you're a hunter, warrior, or rogue (or any other non-healing class)!

Don't laugh. We had a thread in the main forum a while back with a link to the armory for a hunter wearing all +heal gear. Still trying to figure that one out.

It was nerfed a while back, but +healing used to affect mend pet. Some hunters were stacking +heal to let their pets solo crazy things. (some guy soloed a world dragon this way at one point)

+healing used to affect mend pet back in the days that it was a channeled cast. It meant that hunters could stack +healing and solo things they normally wouldn't be able to, as they had little trouble keeping their pet up.
