AlchemyFollow

So I hit 472 last night. Barely....
I've been running on green patterns for the last maybe 7 lvls. There are no new patterns available till 435 I believe. And even then, I think one is a transmute and the others are flasks. All of which, including the greens I've been skilling on, need DAMNED LICHBLOOM!! How many recipes have to use this....

How are others getting through this to 450? As far as I know no vendors of any kind sell Alchemy recipes in Northrend. Do I keep burning mats on Runic Mana pots, hoping to get skill ups, until I hit 430 where I'm sure it will grey? Then hope for a discovery from the 7 day deal that will be high enough to get me some skills while trying to keep up with the mats needed for the flasks?

I finally hit 450 last night. After being stuck at around 430 for awhile, I just bit the bullet and bought a bunch of mats for xmutes to get me to 435 to learn the new flasks. Flew around for awhile (had just made 77) collecting herbs as much as possible, but was still short and blew the rest of the bank to finally get to 450.

But man was that disapointing, no new achievement for being 450herb/450 alchy (server 1st was done in the 2nd day or something stupid like that). Anyways, at least the rush for that is over, now I get to concentrate on leveling/fishing/gold now :)

Unless something has been left out of the Alla DB Alchemists
have been royally shafted. The last recipe other than transmute
titanium before 435, goes gray at 422 and that recipe goes green
at 430. That's 5 skillups of a green expensive recipe. The
resultant product sells for less than cost and not well on my
server.

Until more recipes are added leveling an Alchemist is not for
those without a lot of resources.
