Thank You

Silver is a random spawn that replaces tin (I think it's tin).

I'd suggest 1k needles and Alterac Mountains, and any of the lowest 'Contested' zones (if you play pvp) but basically anywhere you'll find tin you should find occasional silvers, but they are rarer.

I, too, am skilling up in mining AND Blacksmith (about 175 in each). Needing lottsa Iron for Blacksmithing and Mithril,Gold and Iron ore for Mining, I came to Thousand Needles ( I have a map that shows many nodes of each type there and Killerguides recommends it).
I'm trying to cap these trades (225) without leveling my character too high (Lvl 28 Warrior), so I can use the Armor I can learn. But I've already gained a level and a half while searching for nodes appearing on my map that are not there! I'm the only one here so previous mining is not the problem.
Anyone know if Blizzard has nerfed these nodes for WotLK? It's a tough commute for me from Stormwind to look for non-existant ore.

Silver is a rare spawn of tin and iron. Any zone that has those nodes can potentially have silver. Silver, as well as the other uncommon ores, is rare though and going out looking for it is usually not worth the time.

You probably have a map that shows all the POTENTIAL node locations. Just because there CAN be a node there doesn't mean there's actually one there right that second.

they have alot of guides that helped me alot in game
looks like they are updating their site weekly with new content

Your post count (3) and your inability to use things like capital letters and punctuation do not make me want to try your random website without verification from a mod or someone not scared fo clicking random links.

Forgive me for being skeptical. I like useful websites, but I like my phat lootz more.

For the OP...I have been using the following guides to powerlevel my mining on my DK:

O-boards
Site with path maps

Good luck

This is the site I plan out my routes on. It can tell you a variety of spawns for each of the zones including veins, herbs, and chests.

I would ask why you need silver nodes ? but the other posters answered well enough as to where to find silver nodes.

They are a pain when you actually need them as it is a very random spawn and can be almost impossible to find when you need them . The best way i have found is with Carbonite as you can view a large map to give you an idea of which zone to try , you can view any zone you wish with all possible types of nodes and it is a case of just running around the zone of choice and picking every single node a few times and usually in the end a silver node will spawn .

That is the guide site i use and it is as good if not better than most.

I use this site as well, and found it great. I really don't need it anymore, since I now have all of the nodes on my in-game map.

I wonder if the OP is even playing the game any longer. After all, he wrote that post in November 2008.

Necroposting ftl. Necroposting to advert your site - utter and complete fail.

It's not the perfect answer, but just buy it. I can usually do way more productive things with my time and simply buy the silver.

However - before you go down that path...

Why do you want silver? Silver is a rare spawn from Vanilla wow and largely used in items that are far far out of date. I guess it could be used to help level some JC stuff, but please don't be using this to make BS stuff or blue level items...

I clicked the link (I'm at work) and it appears to be fine. The site is wierd though. It appears to be using new Cataclysm graphics (The big dragon thing), but many of the guides are horribly out of date... (At the bottom you can see multiple guides that focus on TBC stuff like "How to make money with netherweave".)

While I see nothing wrong with it... I find nothing particularly excellent or appealing about it.
