Are there any good items in these specializations implemented? I (a 74 ret pally) have just about hit the point where my lionheart executioner will be retired. I'm wondering which weapon specialization i should have for wrath, or if i should just drop blacksmithing all together and take enchanting or engineering.

The titansteel 2-H mace looks decent, and the bonus sockets sound nice. But if there's no utility to the specializations anymore, I wonder if I'm better off with a different profession.

meh. I like it fine. I got master axesmith but I'm only a 60 and I'm really hoping I get a lot of recipe drops for it. Hope it's not useless. If it turns out it is there's always armoursmith

Keep in mind that the expansion was only recently released so I'm sure that they haven't released any further recipes/items to make with crafting. Give Blizzard some time to roll out additional recipes. I would find it hard to believe that they have no plans to add any additional specialization recipes for Blacksmithing or any other professions.

Right now I have mining/herbalism on my Death Knight with mining at 450 and herbalism near 430 or so. And I've run into the situation that a lot of people have that have the same skills I do, the lack of necessity to constantly switch between node tracking for both. I'm actually considering dropping herbalism to pickup blacksmithing to make myself the equivalent of say the Lionheart Executioner but I'm holding out until I have enough gold to powerlevel me through (which shouldn't be a problem since even after spending 1000-3000g every couple of days, I somehow end up with 1k+) and there is a BoP thing to pickup. If I'm able to simply gather the mats and have someone else craft me an item (Spiked Titansteel Helm for example which cost me around 2100g) then I won't, if there's something that's BoP that only I can benefit from and greatly at that, I'll do Smithing.
