You need to go to Outland. Which person you have to talk to depends on your faction, but they should either be in Honor Hold or Thrallmar.

Pardon the thread hijack, but I was wondering if there is a level requirement to get there or to get the advancement. I have my skinning to 300 and I'm level 47.

Thank you

You should be 60 to go to Outland otherwise you will die quick.

You can be summoned to Thrallmar/Honor Hold by a warlock.

55-56 is ok, you won't die as fast. but you'll need a port. otherwise at 58 you can walk through the portal in blasted lands yourself.

I got a portal to outlands for my lvl 51 druid to Shattrath City. I snagged that FP, then ran to Hellfire and died on the way...ended up in graveyard right by Honor Hold (alliance) and bingo, train tailoring and skinning to 375.

If memory serves, someone told me you had to be level 50 to train 375 but I'm not sure. It did work for me at lvl 51 is all I can say.

So sucks, I hit 300 skinning with my lvl 43 Paly, so you're saying I have to wait like 12 more lvls? boggus dude :(

Yes, you can. However, you have to remember that many warlocks won't do blind summons. Keep those requests to your guild or your friends list.

Here's what I posted on the subject on the Main forum:

Quote:
As a warlock, I don't do blind summons. If I happen to be in a group with two other people and a free slot, I might summon them to wherever I happen to be at the moment (and they might not like it if I'm in the middle of the bone wastes), but I'm not going to go out of my way to return to Shattrath just to summon someone. I'm also not going to go out of my way to gather two other people to group with in order to perform a summon.

Extra gold doesn't make a difference. Between all my toons put together, I have approximately 4K gold, so adding an extra 5g for the summon is insignificant.

But, I do summon. I'll summon guildies and anyone on my friends list. I'll go out of my way to perform those summons, because those are important to me. Getting a stranger (and a lowbie stranger, at that) to Shatt is so far down on my list of priorities that I could hit page down for 24 hours and not find it.

You need to be 50 to get your skill above 300, no more no less. However to get your skill above 300 at 50 WILL require some obliging soul to summon or port you to Shattrah... Like Omikeghod said, many warlocks (mine included) don't do summons for anyone who is not a guildy or a friend, but if you do have someone to summon or port you getting the skill at 50 is not an issue...

What IS and issue is materials if you level a crafiting skill past 300. The materials for crafting over 300 are, by and large, also only available in outlands, which means that if you are lower than level 58, you will allmost certainly be forced to buy them off the AH if you wish to up your skill, and you will also need to return to the outlands for any further training you need.

Just my 2 cents worth on the subject

I don't think the > 50 thing is true. I just trained the last rank of herb at 48 and my wife did skinning. She was 47. I had a warlock and priest friend summon us to Shattrath and then ran to Thrallmar. Was a nice tour but I did die several times even with help.
