Question about enchanting.....Follow

#1 Feb 11 2007 at 8:55 PM Rating: Decent
I'm sure that this is gonna sound like a noob question ('course, I've only been playing this for a few months) but I have an enchanting question; Is it possible to dis-enchant an item that has been bound after pickup/equipping so that it is NOT soulbound any more? I've gotten some pretty decent gear (greens mainly, some rare) and it hurts my feelings to have to sell them for a fraction of their worth to a freaking fish vendor (or "whatever" vendor)!! It would be great to "de-soul" the items and then sell them for some serious change on the AH. If this is not possible, please be kind and limit the number of "f***ing noob!" comments.
Thanks.

PS: If any Blizzard folks happen to read this and it's not possible to break the soul binding, perhaps a new "de-soul" enchant would be very nice in a future potential ex-pack. Hmmmm?

No, not possible. Once an item is soulbound, that's that. No going back. That's the whole point .... to make it so the really good gear you have to earn yourself so that there aren't any more people buying gold online then there already is.

You cannot un-soulbound an item. You have two options: vendor it or disenchant it and sell the mats.

..and the last option is properbly the best option as for the mats are used for enchanting items (or you use the items your self to lvl your enchanting)

anyway good luck
