Best place to farm wool and greens?Follow

#1 Feb 08 2007 at 10:16 PM Rating: Decent
I know the deadmines are probably the best option, but being a lvl 14 lock doesn't exactly lend itself well to soloing deadmines, any other places i can do it?

Greens, depending on what level item you want, will drop from alot from alot of beasts, humanoids.

i found the redridge mongrols, poachers, brutes etc to drop some wool. Also skinning sheep wil get you some wool or normal skins.

At level 14 there really isn't an instance you can do successfully (without dying) on your own.

You will have to farm normal mobs.

If ur already in westfall, farm the defias guys, they're everywhere and you can pick up plenty of quick quests at Sentinel Hill. Plenty of wool and some green drops. Also, u should try the mine in loch modan...uhhh silverlode? It's north of Thelsamar and west of the dam. It's got those guys with the little lights on their helmets but they're all low level 9-12? They drop wool if I remember correctly. At a slightly higher level 24-27 Raven Hill in Duskwood is a good place for wool and green drops. Lots of skeletons and ghouls. Actually any of the cemetaries in Duskwood would have what u r looking for, but I'd wait till u were about 10 levels higher.

I would have suggested the Harpies in the barrens, they drop wool/linen, but from the looks of this, you're alliance, so maybe not a good idea if your on pvp server, and also, the razormane near camp taurajo are another good option... i think Blizzard have given horde better options on that part.

The harpies are a good suggestion but not for a level 14. You should be mid-20's at least if you want to farm 1K and not die too often.

You should also level up until level 40+ and solo deadmines. But the drops are low level.

You can go from level 14 to 16 in a few hours play time. Level up to 16, get the four Deadmines quests, and find a group to run it. Even if the group fails to finish the instance, you should get plenty of wool and a few greens. Just my 2 pennies. :)

I vouch for those 2 pennies,

Seriously, run deadmines! Its the best place for wool (like the rest of westfall btw) and the drops should provide with the greens you seek but also some good gear while your at it.

Farm the Master's Glave in southern Darkshore. It is the big hole in the ground with a giant hand holding a sword in the middle. Lots of cloth drops, greens drop about 10%, humanoids so they drop coin, and the spawn rate is good but you can still solo safely.
