Alchemy or EngineeringFollow

#1 Feb 06 2007 at 12:32 AM Rating: Decent
I am a lv30BE hunter and I am currently lv125 with eng lv135 with LW.
And I am deciding to change eng to Alchemy as Eng seems useless to me now and is not making any money.
(I am on a PvE sever which I will only PVP at BG when i reach 60+)
I have a 36BE pally as my alt which I played in the moring (with 180 skinning and 200 mining for gathering material for my main (hunter)
My alt is higher lv then my main due to I play my main with my friend at night only after he finish work. So if I am taking Alchemy instead of eng I will replace mining as herb.
Is Eng useful at end game instance?
or is Alchemy making potion is more useful?
pls help

Engineering, at the moment, stinks the house up. It is commonly agreed to be the least fleshed-out of the professions. With that said it is also the one that is getting reviewed first. There is no timesacle to it at present.

If you are after money take skinning and mining for this character as well. As it doesn't take much effort to get skills back upto 120-130 you are not loosing much if the review makes the profession more attractive. I would never try and level alchemy up without herbalism.

You can make money on engineering.. Just need to find the rigth items to make.

I've made an outrageous numbers of unstable triggers, bombs, guns, bullets... so it can be done. It's also a "fun" proffesion, if you like gadgets.
