Notice: Trade Skills Sticky UpdateFollow

#1 Jan 31 2007 at 7:18 AM Rating: Decent
I am working on an update to the Trade Skills Sticky in my allakhazam journal. It is marked appropriately as a draft. There are several things to cover with the release of the Burning Crusade and I hope I can get it all in. I have to recreate the existing links and formatting in addition to new info, so don't be too critical in that aspect, yet.

I know there are several who post on this forum who have their own interests and knowledge about these changes. I hope to get support from anyone who wants to help. Please reply on my draft thread or send a PM.

I also hope I'm not jumping the gun and someone else has already started the update. Let me know if that is the case.

Just wanted to bump this as the weekend approaches.

I will be working on this over the weekend, so I hope if you have an urge to contribute, you'll shoot me a PM/email or comment on the thread.

My primary concern is the "How do I make money?" questions. Honestly, with the changes brought about by the expansion, the economy is not settled and the new patterns/recipes are still "under test". I may leave those questions alone for now and re-approach them at a later date. But I *do* want to address major issues such as specializations (the changes to existing, and the new ones for alchemy/tailoring) and the introduction of jewelcrafting.

Just wanted to give an update (even if no one seems to be particularly interested). I am about ready to post the new sticky with contents as-is. I am sure some sections will need some work and I am not sure some things are correct in regards to BC changes. But I feel like it is overdue to give our forum sticky some love.

Thank you for your time and effort. We will be happy to rip your work to shreds once it is posted. :)

Seriously, do your best and post it as a work in progress once you think it's ready. I looked at the draft briefly, but didn't want to comment until you had updated everything.

Thanks Reednut. I came to the conclusion that no one will comment until it's "official", until then it's just some random journal posting. Looks like I was right =)

I think it should be ready to post tonight or in the next couple days.
