Tradeskill topic? i dunno, but i guess it doenst matter that much since its close.
Question: TBC brings us many new grey and whites in our back filling up our precious bagspace. Weapons and armor are sold instantly, they are, as we say, pretty much useless (although i'm happy to recieve any when looting).
But what about the spore, the meats, the shells, "jakkal pearls etc...
Are there some spotted to be worth something? like the motes of earth/fire/etc..

I just wanted to make a list that will help me decide what to vendor and what not, so i start with:
-Mote of Air
-Mote of Earth
-Mote of Fire
-Mote of Life
-Mote of Myzrael
-Mote of Shadow
-Mote of Water

These are not to be thrown away as for there primal state (turning ten of them in to 1 primal, is worth something)

-Unidentified Plants

In Zangarmarch (once you reach it) killing beasts may give you these and ten of those are deliverd to get reputation and ofc. the first time a quest is finished.

-Fertile spores

These are rep turnin for sporregar

-pearls

for jewelcraft. although the jaggal ones are not confirmed jewelcraft parts yet

/add

I'm surprised you immediately vendor green drops - I make between 50-100g a day from AH'ing mine. Even the obviously hard-to-sell stuff (shammy gear on alliance for now) can be DE'ed into very saleable enchanting mats.

no not really, just pointing out the use of motes. But the real reason to start this is to get ideas from you (the experts) guys and eventually post it on guild website, this way they all think i'm the guru (kidding)

I was just checking bags yesterday and found them stuffed with UFtrash not knowing what to vendor and what not.

But still editing OP..tnx for reply

there's a tip in the loading screen of WoW:

Items that have white name are somehow useful to players. You can safely assume that white things can be put on AH.

10x [Mote of Earth] = 1x [Primal Earth]
10x [Mote of Fire] = 1x [Primal Fire]

My server:
1x [Primal Earth] = 8g on the AH
1x [Primal Fire] = 30g on the AH

true but that doesnt cover the grey stuff and you wont put everything on AH (too time consuming) and you DO want that valuable bagspace. Much new items, many skill gathering and many gathering quests....

You could set up a toon for AH sales only. Leave him/her in SW by the mailbox and mail him all your white/green items. Let them stack up and maybe to a once a week posting on the AH. Weekends might be the best time to sell that stuff anyways since there may be more people on.

This is the method my brother and I have been using and it's working out well. Each send to the same toon then split 50/50 at the end of the week after sales are done.
