Where do I go if I want to specialize in mooncloth tailoring? Does the mooncloth tailor in Shattrath teach it to you at a specific level of tailoring?

I DOn't Recommend Doing Mooncloth bag makingbecause it requires 2 felcloth to make 1 mooncloth, and you can only do that every 4 days. and 1 mooncloth is 10g where a bag is only 15g. Morte profit from selling the cloth itself

I believe SE lower corner of Shat is where Tailor specialists are.

As an offnote do you play on Alleria?

Spellweaving and Shadowweaving.

But does anyone know if you can do one of the quests and become one of the above and then change your mind and somehow undo/untrain the specialization and pick another?

that doesn't make any sense at all. It only takes 2 rune thread to turn it into a bag... (so +50s) to make 4.5g...

I believe the original poster was inquiring about tailoring specializations that became available within the Burning Crusade expansion, specifically that of Mooncloth Tailoring ...

WoW Wiki - Tailoring Specialization
Quote:
Tailors now can choose a Tailoring Specialization. Each of these three specializations allow the tailor access to a number of self only recipes and will allow the tailor to make twice as much of one kind of new cloth as a tailor without this Specialization.

* Mooncloth Tailoring: Allows the tailor access to special self-only mooncloth recipes and to create an additional primal mooncloth at a moonwell.
* Shadoweave Tailoring: Allows the tailor access to special self-only shadoweave recipes and to create an additional shadowcloth at the altar of shadows.
* Spellfire Tailoring: Allows the tailor access to special self-only spellfire recipes and to create an additional spellcloth in netherstorm.

Mooncloth will still be created with 2xFelcloth (4 day cooldown). Within the Burning Crusade expansion there is Primal Mooncloth (created with 1xBolt of Imbued Netherweave, 1xPrimal Life, 1xPrimal Water). Primal Mooncloth will also have a 4day cooldown, however Mooncloth tailoring specialists will be able to create 2 Primal Mooncloths every 4 days.

As far as who/where the tailoring specialization is obtained, I'm not yet sure, but a buddy of mine said that the specialization can only occur at level 70 (have a few more levels to find out myself).

Mmmm... No. Mooncloth used for mooncloth tailoring is primal mooncloth, not normal mooncloth. Created on a 4 day cooldown timer just as normal mooncloth, but it's made of a bolt of imbued netherweave, one primal life and one primal water.

I'm currently lvl 67 and picked mooncloth tailoring. Required skill is 350 lvl doesnt really seem to matter at all.
