Glitched mining nodesFollow

I searched the net and these forums saw no one ask this question certainly found no answer. Haven't asked Blizzard yet but who knows maybe you know the answer before I take that step.
When I go to mine in Westfall at Jangelode Mine and Gold Coast Quarry there appear to be nodes that are neither in the cave nor above the ground. Search as I may they apparently live in an alternate dimension. I even offered gold to someone if he could help me find how to get the nodes. He went into the cave while I stayed outside on top of the yellow tracking dot. Needless to say after he looted the nodes in the cave the yellow dot was still there but there was no node where I was standing despite the minimap saying there was.
Perhaps other zones suffer from a similar glitch? Or it's not a glitch but I just don't know how to get to the nodes in question...
It is a pickle.
