New BC level reqs for tradeskillsFollow

#1 Jan 09 2007 at 4:43 AM Rating: Decent
Sorry if this has been answered below, but I can not find it in the hoard of posts. I was trying to plan out BC stuff, and I have not yet seen the level requirments for the higher levels of crafting.

Does anyone know what the new level reqs are going to be in order to get the next level of skill? Hopeing that its something reasonable (like 45 or 50) or leveling alts for the trade skills is going to be a real rightous pain in the kiester :|.

Also, with all the info that has come out regarding all the nifty new equipment, does anyone know of a list of the craftable items that you will find at higher levels yet? Would be interested to see what is in store for dragon scale leather working :P.

Thanks in advance :).

I checked the links posted by Miten, and it looks like getting 300-375 level in professions will require player level 45.

Since the trainers are in the Outlands, and you can't go through the Dark Portal unless you are L58+, it doesn't really matter if you can technically cap 375 at L45

That may be true of the primary professions, but for your favorite secondary, fishing, it's just a book. While sold in the Outlands (Zangarmarsh), it's not marked as BoP so it's easily transferred to a lower level player.

It's the same for first aid: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22012
and cooking: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27736

Unless Blizz implements a way of preventing the transfer of books to a sub-58 character not permitted into the Outlands, or said character hasn't bought the expansion, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Ungh.. level 58 then :|? Suck. Sigh more work for the trade skill peeps I see :|. Hate having to be self sufficient.. if only I could figure out a way to not have to work ... work takes to much time away from level grinding!!

Do you have to be 58 to physically enter the portal or is it just the mobs around the portal or something?

According to Wowhead, the fishing book and the cook book are level 55 items. The first aid manual is a level 60 item.

Interesting. Must have changed between when I posted and when you did. Thanks for the update.
