Engineering teleports? :: World of Warcraft

Although I might be making this all up, I am pretty sure that I've once read that after choosing your engineering path (Gnomish or Goblin), A new quest opens accordingly, and allows you to repair a teleporter. The location of the teleporter depends on your path of choice. Sadly, I am unable to find this information again now that it is actually relevant... Can anyone hook me up with a link?

Yup, when your eng skill gets to about 260 you can ask the guy next to the trasnporter and he will tell you what you need to make a transponder(of sorts).

If you are gnomish spec you can build one to gadget, if you are goblin spec, it is off to everlook for you.

Buzzek Bracketswing <Master Engineer>. He is in gadget, Look Hard at his name, I am not joking. I have awnserd the question at least 50 times and at least 40 of them have somebody comming back in telling me that i sent them to the goblin spec trainer. They simply did'nt pay attention. There are two trainers within like 10 feet of each other, One inside a building (not the right one) who will be the guy to make you a goblin spec, and one outside(the right one). Heck it may be a good idea to write downt the name.
