My friend needs green lettered items for enchanting and i'm a blacksmith, so if he pays for the mats for my items then i give it to him for enchanting, is he loseing out? I dont really want to make him spend his money so i level for free, but i think it might be cheaper for him.

There are many items that can be disenchanted for profit on both sides of the fence. For example, I made several deals with leatherworkers to sell me Hillman's Shoulders at five for a gold. Disenchanting them allowed me to make a profit when selling the mats. Both sides ended up rich.
