I'm looking for a good fishing bot (not the ones that inject code into the game).
So if anyone knows of a good bot/macro please tell me. Thx ^^

The whole point of these games is to play them. Why people use bots and buy gold/items is crazy to me.

You'd be better off buying a character off Ebay already skilled.

There's always someone that wants to cheat. The OP is a cheater. There's no way around it. I'm absolutely certain that he already knew that bots were a bannable offense when he posted. He just wants a way that doesn't use the programs that Blizz is able to catch. I'm so glad that Blizz has closed the macro language loopholes to prevent cheating.

WTB Bot that will play WoW for me, thus voiding the entire purpose of why I am paying money every month.

lol ElementHuman, just posted a reply on somebody asking about powerlvling (kinda same as bot only you pay for it)

I dont get it: you pay for the software, you pay for the servermaintenance and updates and you dont wanna play? whats up with that?

well i can tell you OP, i'm facing many long and boring nights of lvlling and goldfarming. And you know what OP? i dont care because i like the game (90% of the time) and i pay good for it!!

anyone with me on this??

i am a 100% with you on that :] i dont see why you would pay for the game and not play. i mean if you level up everything on your char. you have something to be proud about and you want to keep playing but when you use a bot or buy stuff its not fun because your not earning it. i dont know about everyone else but i think when a game is really easy it seems to get boring fast. so thats why i dont buy stuff :P and plus i barely have enough money to play lol

Agree, and rate ups for almost everyone.

It takes about 30 min in the wetlands for me to come up with 20 firefin, 20 blackmouth, and 20 stranglekelp... i head to the highlands, pick up about 10-15 steelbloom and goldthorn, come back to the wetlands and head to the AH with a couple stacks of firefins, blackmouths, steelbloom and stranglekelp. Which in turn makes me in the area of 15g. All for maybe an hour's work along with decent experience for my 37 mage.

If you can click a mouse, you can catch fish... it couldn't me much easier.

A friend of mine has the best fishing bot known to man - his 6-year old daughter. He just launches the program, moves to a nice safe spot, shuts off all the chat channels, and turns her loose.

Hey, you're allowed to let one minor use your account!

There is a point to things like this, and that is that a person doesn't want to "waste time" so to speak. Some people play this game only for the final goal, they don't like working their way to get there because all they want is the best of everything so they can go beat people up with uber-gear. I do actually think they should have a server for this, just to get rid of the people who bot and cheat on real servers. Have a server where when you enter, you are level 60 already, you can select your gear from a list, you select all your talents, you pick which professions you want to have maxed, and then you just get dropped into the world to do what you please with your maxed out character.

Would certainly remove a lot of the problems we have in the real servers, and would even be useful as a test server to see how your builds on the real server will eventually turn out. Cheaters drive me crazy, at least this would give them a place to vent whatever their problems are on people without harming the real servers. Let them all flock together and kill each other off :P

This sounds wonderful to me, but I'd also remove all flight paths and abilities to teleport and summon, so they could all ask each other how to get to Stormwind or Thunder Bluff.

The only problem with your idea, Codexia, is that the people who bot, cheat and buy gold tend to want to be uber. If everyone is at the same level, with the best gear, they don't outshine everyone else on the server. They'll need some not-so-decked out players and some low-level players to look down upon, and thus they'll never all leave the regular servers.

I understand the mentality of people that want to have the best gear, or be a level 60 in a "famous" (or notorious) guild, but it always annoys me that there are a number of people that want to preen and pretend they earned their way to the top, when they bought gold, got PLed and botted their way to level 60 with Epics purchased indirectly from their credit cards. It diminishes the accomplishments of people who actually did take the time & effort (well, whatever effort goes into it) into leveling their own characters and getting the rewards themselves.

Just to add my .02 here, these people only cheat themselves! I mean who cares that they got what they got by cheating? As long as you know yourself that you put the time and effort into your own, take pride you did and ***** them.

Yea, I do see your point. It's like I tend to say when people always insult alliance and/or hoarde. Yea, Alliance may have a lot of immature kids on it, but Hoarde has a lot of stuck up snobs :P See? We can generalize to, lol (I'm on Hoarde by the way).

But yea, it might not remove the entire problem, but it would more than likely at least thin it a tiny bit, and even that little bit would be nice. Heck, you could design NPC's that run around that server who look and act (as best as an NPC can) like players and they can slaughter those poor innocent NPCplayers all day.

It is sad though that people seem to think that without the best of the best, they aren't anything. My characters almost always have all greens, and whatever blues I find in quests and drops (because I'm a cheap SOB and I hate buying stuff), and I find myself doing just fine, and feeling better about the fact that I earned every single thing on the character. The people who only feel good about themselves when they flex their virtual muscles and beat up helpless victims really need help.

Roflmao! Great idea! Rate up for this one! Fill Ashenvale, Stranglethorn Vale, Charred Vale and all those other great ganking spots with a bunch of cookie-cutter low-level characters and let them gank to their heart's content! You could even add the /rude, /beg, /wave emotes just for a little extra realism! And maybe occasional /yells about the ?? horde (or alliance) ganking in xxxx!

Sure, why not...there can even be a scoring system like highscore boards on the main site. You get bonus points for attacking people who are in the middle of fishing, and a free week of gameplay for every 100 "players" you kill who are resting after battle and under 15% health and/or mana.

[edit] Thanks for the rate-up :P

Goddamn, you people need to get out more. Look at you QQing it up. FISHING ISN'T FUN, STOP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH LIKE THE BROWN NOSING TEACHERS PET NERDS YOU WERE IN HIGHSCHOOL

It's much, much more mindless than even the rest of the game is, and that says alot. Click, Click, click: The technique involves reacting to the meter and sound, OH MY! The reaction time window is large, by the way, to compensate for latency

As long as you want to start a flame war over what I consider the most relaxing, enjoyable, and easyest way to make money I just have to say that if you aren't an idiot, you made a world-class effort at simulating one. Try to edit your writing of unnecessary material before attempting to impress us with your insight. The evidence that you are a nincompoop will still be available to readers, but they will be able to access it more rapidly. And what meaning do you expect your delusionally self-important statements of unknowing, inexperienced opinion to have with us? What fantasy do you hold that you would believe that your tiny-fisted tantrums would have more weight than that of a leprous desert rat, spinning rabidly in a circle, waiting for the bite of the snake?

I agree.

I also think some of the UIs out there are cheating.

They make an already easy game easier. Cosmos? I think that is a cheat, most people will disagree, same with CT raid.
#22 Dec 16 2006 at 11:38 AM Rating: Decent
Cosmos and CT Raid are not cheating; if you haven't noticed already but WoW's basic UI is a piece of crap. The simple premise behind the two is the fact that they don't play the game for you, which is not true for bots and whatnot.

Then don't do it. Make money doing something else and buy the fish you need.

I don't see why fishing isn't fun...it's a bit tedious maybe, but if you just want to sit and chat with people, fishing is the best to do o.o; Just chat and BS with people like a chat room, and before you realize it, your getting a message saying your bags are full :P

I taught my 6-y-o daughter how to fish in WoW, too!

The novelty wore off, though. If only she could fish up Bratz dolls in a mall somewhere...

She still loves the succubus butt-slap and playing with the mouse while in flight.
