Arathi Highlands. Lvled up mining on iron there from 150 to 200 in hr.

Badlands, u will make a killing there.
STV is good... and you don't have to worry about too high of level monsters...

Go to the Badlands south of Loch Modan, and as well as planty of iron you can also get started on some great Ulduman quests.
It really depends on your level.
Stonetalon and Thousand Needles are great for iron as long as you can easily handle level 30ish mobs. There is more iron in higher level zones but it's not that useful if you are spending more time fighting from one node to the next than you are actually mining.
