If you're Horde, go to Undercity. If you're Alliance, re-roll and become Horde. =)

Could some1 tell me why all my potions in the alchemy bar are displayed brawn and when I start making potions I dont level up my alchemy skill? That is not only my problem.A friend of mine has the same problem. Is this because of the honor sistem patch, couse as far as I remember this thing is like this from exactly that long.If some1 has the same problem pls post your uncool expirience with that thing. And if there is something that perhaps I have to do before I can make potions again and resieve EXP for it(like buy a book or train somewhere-that sort of things)pls give me directions. Thanks in advance.

P.S.-I am currently 243 lvl in alchemy and 299 in herbalism.

I believe there is an artisan alchemist in Darnassus that can teach you into the expert level alchemy (+150 I think), then a Master Alchemist in FeatherMoon for Artisan training.

As you no skill ups if you are making items below your skill level, skill ups will be far and few between. If all your recipies are showing as orange/brown including those you know you are well past, then likely you are bugged, petition about it.

What Keinbg is describing is what happens when you reach the skill cap. All the recipes turn orange. But, at 243 Alchemy thats obviously not the case...I would also petition.

Yes, there is in Darnassas.
Imo, i think Alchamey/herbalism is good, BECAUSE, it's sometimes hard to find people with them, and healing while standing is great.

ahh Alchemy. How great it is. I’m a lv 53 Druid. Capped out my alch/herb skill right around lv 43 or so. I started the game with all my RL friends as well. one skin/lw, the other bs/mineing and the other tailor/enchant. It seems to be so much more easy for me to make money then it is for them.
I usually make about 50-75g whenever I get to the AH which is every other day usually.

Since I am lv 300 unless I am making a great potion to sell or if I am making potions to use it is silly to use any alchemy skill. The money is really in the raw materials. I found that high lv alchs are really lazy and do not feel like walking around for hours to collect herbs. So they just buy it at the AH. Some of the high lv pots take a stack of herbs so I wouldn’t want to do that either.

It is hard to say which herb sells the most though.. They vary daily. ex: sungrass to me is worth 1g a stack. I have seen it go as high as 20g a stack. Same with blindweed. Mountain Salvage is probably the coolest herb. I find some in the Crater and some in Felwood but I have not found a good farming place yet.
Sungrass- Hinterlands
Blindweed- swamp of sorrows
firebloom- blasted lands
plaugebloom- Felwood (and probably western plaugelands I just have not been there yet)
Dreamfoil - so far its Crater but I'm sure there is a better place at a higher lv)
goldthorn - Highlands is the best if u need this herb for pots

Darnasas you can learn up to 225 alch.
Feralas (fethermoon) you have to go to get artisan

Any other questions about alch/herb let me know and I will try to get back here and answer

If you want something that will help you track the best places to get your herbs. Then I would recommend visiting these two sites.
