Plans can be bought in Gag from the Thorium Brotherhood dwarf at the forge.

Expensive... 7 plans.... costs Thorium Bars to purchase the plans. Roughly 270 total to get all 7 plans.

New armor smith recipies are quested. The item drops thats start the quest are rare/epic and require level 60 if im not mistaken. Seen pics of the items in question, but have no clue where they are personally.

Bottom Half of Volume 1: Goralak Anvilcrack/UBRS
Top Half of Volume 1: King Gordok/DM North
Bottom Half of Volume 2: Crimson Hammersmith/Strat Scarlet side (pickup the smithing plans near Cannon Master Willey to spawn this guy)
Top Half of Volume 2: Rattlegore/Scholo
Bottom Half of Volume 3: Black Guard Swordsmith/Strat UD side (pickup the smithing plans near the Baroness' tower to spawn this guy)
Top Half of Volume 3: Unknown

Seen the stats for the legs, they arent bad but the mats are obnoxious.
